WHY I BUY BOOKS

When you have a list of about a hundred books that you want, but no one understands that you can’t just check them out of the library because you want to own the story and be able to revisit the characters and places, and mark your favourite quotes and give it a home in your overflowing bookshelf. No one understands that there are so many reasons to own a book as there are reasons to live.
